Last week Mama talked to Mr. Dolittle again. This time she talked about me and how I am not fond of Ichiro. that meant she merged with ME. I am not sure I liked that. It suggests that I might be less than perfect if there something that could be worked on.
But what I liked? That when I sat on the desk towards the end, Ichiro looked at me and then he backed away and looked at me from an appropriate distance. And he didn’t chase after when I decided to leave. In fact, he hasn’t chased me at all, even when I hissed at him. Instead of running after me when I left, he looked at Mama as if to say, “What did I do?” So she rubbed his ears.
I am not sure he deserved that. After all, he IS Ichiro and I did not ask to have him here, but I like that he’s being a little nicer.
If you are all lucky, you will all werk it out among yerselfs and become friends. We have. And we think that is as good as it gets.

Aw, sometimes it takes a while for kitties to get along.. Sometimes, like with my two, all you can hope for is a truce most of the time.. I hope you two do better!
