Katie asked on Thursday what a good book to start with by Kris Rusch as she’s got so many. Anyway, we’d like to say we (and Maxwell, Faraday and Allie) loved What Fluffy Knew. Also, on Monday is Free Fiction Monday so any Monday you go to her blog, you get a free short story (it changes and doesn’t stay up so we’re just linking to the main blog).
Now, we’re great fantasy fans and we liked the Fey. The first book is The Sacrifice. If you like Games of Thrones and Lord of the Rings, you’ll probably like this. We think George R. R. Martin got ideas from the Fey for his characters! And yes, the series predates Game of Thrones–or the early part does.
Also, we’ve really been enjoying the Retrieval Artist Series, which is a mystery series set in the far future where we have run into other sentient beings and have a large moon base. The first of those is The Disappeared and that’s a ton of fun. The early Retrieval Artist don’t need to be read in order, but the later ones should be.
Now we’re off to watch the season finale of Downton Abbey!
Our Mommy LOVES book reviews from furriends. Too bad I chewed the Nook power cord up. That really stinks for her. Bwahahahaha! – Princeton
Have a great Monday!
Ichiro, you look so good “just hangin” 🙂
Mom will check out the story. She likes reading 🙂

Thanks for those books, Ichirio. The mom is gonna go look for What Fluffy Knew. We wanna know what she knew. 😉
I still want to know What Fluffy Knew too!
*going to find What Fluffy Knew!*
— thanks for the tip!
I’m pretty sure it will be over Waffles’ head though.
So surprise there.

Good photo Ichiro.
Well we were kinda shocked that they skipped so many months of Edith’s pregnancy in Downton Abbey, but we enjoyed the way they ended this season VS last season. What did you think?
