We are very sad to know that our long time friend, Parker has had to run off to the Bridge. We know that it is never good bye, but only until we meet again, but it doesn’t make it any easier to know they have left us behind.
Smoochies to you dear Parker
We heard the sad news and believe you were a close friend? We send purrs of condolence.
So very sad indeed. We will miss those bright, unique, beautiful eyes of hers.
It is a very sad day today. The whole blogosphere has been sad lately. Too many going to the bridge.
We are very sad to hear this news about Parker. Even though we take comfort in knowing she’s painfree and youthful at the Bridge with our dear Sweet Praline, those of us left behind will miss her terribly.
Truffle, Brulee, and Mom Paula
I’m having a tough time with this … poor Parker. We knew she was ill, but it doesn’t make it better.
We are all so sad about dear sweet Parker Pie. Our lives are better because she called us friends. We love you and we will remember you always Parker Pie Rest in peace dear one.
I am purring lots for Parkler’s family – as sad as we all are, I know it must be worlds worse for them.
Parker had a very good and full life, and can now see and run around again over on the Rainbow Bridge. I think it is good to celebrate her life and the fact that she isn’t suffering any more. We will all miss her, of course, but she is where she needs to be.
By the way, if you want flowers to appear, you have to do more than just concentrate. There’s a magic word you have to say, too — and you have to say it at just the right time of day — and that’s a secret only Dante knows.
We loved how Parker signed her last post “Smoochies”, as always. Mom has been teary but the “smooches” makes her smile.
We all knew it was coming, and truthfully each time Parker appeared in our Reader we were afraid, and yesterday our fears were confirmed. Each loss is our collective loss and the sadness that we all feel is true and deep. Our deepest hurt goes to Helen and her husband who are probably numb and beyond sad. We know that Parker did indeed have a charmed life and there couldn’t have been a more apt post than the one yesterday. We are trying to accept that she had completed her journey and was ready to move on. It’s always harder on those left behind, but for now we will just remember the beautiful bi-colored eyes of a sweet and sassy girl who we are all going to miss… a lot.
xoxoxo
She was a wonderful girl!
The day her mom announced that the doctor would be coming in the morning to help ease her way our mom had woke up with Parker in her mind, and went right to her blog & read about it. She’s spooky that way sometimes.
She had a huge welcoming committee to greet her as she crossed over, with Scooby there to meet her too.
Sad day in the CB.
We know that Parker had a great many cat friends waiting to greet her over the Bridge!
We hated losing her, but we know she couldn’t have lived a happier life than she had with her ‘rents.
She was a grand and beautiful girl.
