First, I would just like to say that we are so sorry to hear about friend Scooby. It was so sudden and shocking that we are particularly upset for his family. We know, of course, that Scooby is in a much better place. Still, he was an early friend and he will be much missed.
I am quite pleased that Ping is coming by to help me when the Pet Sitter will be here. I am certain she will not be able to tell the difference between me and Ping as I do not usually let her see me (but she peeks at the blog, so I hope she does not read this and know that Ping is a handsome red tabby where I am brown). Mama will only be gone a couple of days. They leave Friday and come back on Sunday.
They are hopefully going to see tulips in Skagit Valley. Mama is a little worried that the tulips are expected late so they may only see daffodils. I do not know why there would be daffodils at a tulip festival, but it has been rainy and icky so the tulips might be late. I think there should be a fine if you are expected some place and then are late, don’t you? Anyway, we will see. It is supposed to rain on Friday and be partly cloudy on Saturday. But who knows when it actually gets there. I hope it only rains when she is outside because she left me at home alone. By myself. With Ichiro, which is sort of worse than being by myself.
We are very sad about Scooby too.
Good luck with Ichiro and the Pet Sitter. Maybe you can leave a little something for them…you know, something kind of hairballish.

Pet sitter? The people keep talking about trying to find one for me, but I’m not too keen on someone coming over here and sitting on me. Hopefully they won’t find one anytime soon.
Gemini, we are sure the pet sitter will know which kitty you are…the lovely floofy one 🙂
We purr your humans have a great weekend!!

We are missing Scooby.
Gemini, you’re gonna have a much better time now that Ping will be there. We hope your humans have a nice trip and get to see some tulips.
Hi, Gemini! You sure look purdy, honey pie!
Oh… and Is that a heads up for a future Find Chey?
You know she will be back before you know it!
Maybe it won’t be to bad Gemini. You might even get extra treats. Hope Mom and Dad have a good time. Take care.
We were very shocked and saddened by Scooby’s sudden leaving for the Bridge. We will miss him.
We hope your parents have a good time at the tulip festival. It is very good of Ping to come and keep you company. Hopefully he will keep Ichiro in order.
Thank you for your kind words of condolence both here and at our blog.
We all miss him do much, there is a hole in our lives, but good memories too.
Well, at least you have nice home help who can be bullied into supplying many fishy flakes, AND there’s teh guilt presents when your mummy gets back. We’re hoping she has a great trip and that the tulips are prompt.
This sounds like great fun to us.
Miss Gemini
I will gladly sub for you with the pet sitter.
I will fool her, you watch!
