Okay, so this is an older photo. It’s from when Daisy Mae Maus and the Feline Americans and their human came to visit me! I’m showing off what a handsome guy I am. You can’t see him, but Skeezix is there too making sure I do the catwalk thing just so. He said I nailed it. Of course then he said I could go right to fashion modeling and I found out that meant modeling clothes! I’m not sure about that. I was kind of relieved when Mom and DMM’s human left and went to lunch and Skeezix couldn’t like think up a great outfit for me.
I’m still talking at night but I was getting better. I started at 4 or 5 in the morning and was doing the normal “Hi, I’m a cat and now I’m awake and I think you should be too” stuff so that Mom just closed the bedroom door and Chey and Gemini and I would run around and do cat stuff until it was time for them to get up.
But then, the power went out in the middle of the night and I got scared and I haven’t been the same since. Don’t tell anyone I’m kind of afraid of the dark. Chey laughs at me for that.

Ichiro, you should move in here with us. Even when I sing at 3am, mom and dad think it’s sweet and comforting, I’m the most secure kitten they know, but I like it when it’s dark and private. I don’t want anyone watching me when I sing. I still drop my socks and stop when mom tries to video me…even though she praises me and says I’m a great talent.
You’re not the only one afraid of the dark, kitty, but don’t worry, there’s always light again in the morning!
Oh Ichiro!! Clementine is afraid of the dark, too!!

Ichiro ~ we all roll a different way, so don’t worry about being afriad of the dark. We heard that big tuff dragons are afraid of the dark too ~ that’s why the breathe flames to see by.

Poor Ichiro, sorry about that dark thing. I used to have separation anxiety at night and I never left my beans side and kep them up all night. Now I’m better. Don’t worry about Chey, that is what sisters are supposed to do. Rag on brothers.
There are flashlights that come on automatically when the power goes out. We have them all over the house in case of emergencies. Maybe your mommy could get a couple of those. And the nightlights that come on automatically. We have those too. They help a lot.
I hope you get over your setback very soon, Ichiro! You are the first kitty I’ve met who is afraid of the dark.
