Well I went wandering over to give Mom Paula some comfort in the shocking loss of little Beignet. I knew she was quite distressed as we all were. But I took a wrong turn and ended up there. ‘Kaika said, “Are you in Hendersonville, N.C.?” and Laila and Minchie came by and said, “Are you in Hendersonville, NC in front of the Hospice Home Store on Main Street? We bet you can find some great bargains in there for a great cause.”
And both were right. We were thrilled. Mom Paula knew I was in the wrong Carolina so she may have helped a little too. Fortunately Hendersonville isn’t too far from the Border and I was able to get to her house before the hurricane and we got to snuggle and I made her feel much better. However, I bet she could still use some purrs. 2011 has been a tough year for our friend. We hope that end of the year with dear Truffle will be better.

I’m so glad you found your way to SC to purr on me. It’s been a rough week and a rough year, but having furriends and friends like your mom have helped me get through. Truffle is scheduled to be home with me next Sunday!!!
