Momma looked at my photo and said she needed to clean windows. I think she does so that I can press my nose to it again and have more nose prints. I hate a messing glass.
I wanted to tell you that I can flip just like Ichiro, but I stick the landing more often. It’s really not at all hard to do. You get held and you stretch out like you want to leave and then Dad flips you over and you land on your feet. He started us both as kittens so that we would stretch out naturally and be held in his hands and then flipped us. Now when we are upside down we automatically stretch out and then get flipped. I do not like flipping as much as Ichiro.
The only cat who does not flip here is Cheysuli and that’s because she does not like my Dad. I figure that is okay because being a girl flipping cat makes me special.
What a lovely picture of you, Miss Gemini! I’m sure you are very good at flipping and at sticking the landing. And I’m not at all surprised that Chey does not flip. She doesn’t strike me as a flipper. Like me, she is probably a flopper.
You have a lean acrobat’s body that’s perfect for flipping but Chey is a bit too royal for that sort of thing. Does she applaud you?
My human tried flipping us and we did not look graceful and we did not enjoy it.
maybe the secret IS starting you out as kittens, but I also think it may have to do with being floofy. My Mom remembers a fluffy tabby cat they had when she was a child who was very like you in appearance, and he would lie back on his back and relax. But a lot of their cats never would.
Our Mom better not get any ideas. We don’t think we want to be flipped.
We’ve had problems getting your blog to load. Is anyone else having problems?
The Florida Furkids and Angel Sniffie
Flipping sure looks like fun, but we think we are so big, we could never stretch out straight like that to begin!!
Wow, Gemini, we’re impressed! Even we’ve never tried the flipping! Tell your mom to get a little video, you’re adoring audience wants to see this! 🙂
As for cleaning the windows, our mom says that’s a losing battle. And in the summer, Derry likes to smoosh bugs and moths against the patio door glass and lick up the guts. The mom’s forever at the glass with window cleaner!
P.S. Re: The Florida Furkids question: Yes, yesterday morning (first thing) we could NOT get your blog to load. We finally gave up and came back later in the day. Just a glitch of some sort, we imagine, since we had no problem today.
None of us are flippers here…so yes Gemini, you are VERY special for being a girl flipper. I think you should make sure your nose prints are on every window.
We will have to try that flipping thing. It sounds neat!
That sounds like a fun trick — maybe for my sister Maggie. Isn’t it fun putting your nose prints on the windows? I think it’s important to keep our Moms busy with tasks like cleaning the windows. Otherwise they’d get bored.
Mommy tried flipping some of us but we just flopped. Gemini, we are in AWE of your flippability!
We just love that photo of you, Gemini!
We must have missed this whole flipping thing when #1 was away, so we need to go back and look through the last few days to find out more!

We’ve never tried flipping, maybe one of these days. That is one gorgeous picture!!!
Miss Gemini
YOU are absolutely stunning in your beautiful picture today.
OH when are we all going to be treated to a video of you flipping?
That looks like fun, I would like to try it.

Gemini, that is a beautiful picture of you.
We have never tried flipping. It sounds like fun, but I think Eric would just flop in a pile.

Hi Gemini! It is nice to see such a gorgeous photo of you! We don’t flip around here unless it’s for food and probably not in the same way as you!
