This photo is from about a month ago when I was sitting in the sun. I do not think we have had much sun since then!
At any rate, Momma has lots of running around to do tomorrow. She sees a couple of patients in their home tomorrow and then she has a massage which she got as a trade services (so she is thrilled) and then she is socializing Ichiro with our Pet Sitter (and sometimes I even come out for that!) and then she is hoping to head out to the library in the next town for MoveOn.org’s Defending the Dream.
This is about standing in solidarity with all workers. Momma feels that is very important. She says you don’t have to be union to appreciate the fact that we have labor laws, 40 hour work weeks and required breaks and such to appreciate what unions have done. We have that because of unions. If unions were stronger, we’d all be paid more and get better benefits. So she wants to go out and stand in the rain with a bunch of people she doesn’t know.
Personally, I think she should stay with me. Aren’t I a dream that needs to be defended to? And I think my friends all need to be visited especially as she had technical difficulties (or as she says an attack of the stupids) tonight and had to do more work than she expected and did not visit them all.
I think that you cats should create a union to demand so many hours cuddling, petting, stroking, feeding etc. 24 hours a day is not too much to ask, no? 🙂
YES! We cats need a union! And our union-loving humans can’t say One Word about it, right??? Hee-hee.

What is it with humans…standing out in the rain with people they don’t know for things they believe in. Don’t they believe in staying with us to satisfy our every want? Maybe we do need a cat union. Cheese for all!

Hi! My grandbean was in a union until he retired. He worked hard all his life as most union workers do. Unions get a bad rap but they are about protecting workers. Maybe if more beans demanded better work environments they wouldn’t be so stressed, feel they need to take their work laptops on vacation and generally “live to work”. We hope it stops raining for your mommy tho. water is for drinking, not standing in.
