I should so like a happy family like this.   Alas, I have Ichiro.  And the Male.   Perhaps I shall never return!  And I bet that this one is a hard one so extra kudos to the kitty who finds me!

  5. I’ve got it. It’s the Homecoming Statue in Kirkland, Washington.

    A replica of The Homecoming© statue was dedicated in Kirkland on July 4, 2001. The statue overlooks Puget Sound from its location in Marina Park. The Homecoming© is dedicated to Navy families, and is Kirkland’s “heartwarming expression” of family unity. Kirkland is also called “the city of outdoor statues” so The Homecoming© is also a participant of the city’s artistic expression.

  6. This could be really hard. We thought there weren’t many identifying factors but then if there are more of those statues out there–wow! I could be here awhile!

  8. This is tough because this same statue is in several different cities! Ack! Oh why couldn’t you have been at the Tillamook Cheese Factory. We could have hijacked a magic cheese bus.

  9. Mom saw “Unconditional Surrender” which is very tall and doesn’t have the child, but it is the Navy! It’s about time I got one right. Sorry furriends!

  14. WE KNOW THIS! It is The Homecoming! It shows a sailor, his wife and child, all rejoicing in his homecoming and safe arrival. It is at The United States Navy Memorial, Washington DC !

    YAY! We are THRILLED!!!!!

  15. I was going to say it is the replica of the Homecoming Statue in Norfolk Virginia, but I see Praline found you at another one. Congratulations Praline!

  16. Wow, we slept late and you are already found. We would have been wrong anyway as our Mom saw the statue in San Diego. How neat that there are so many of them as it is a lovely statue that evokes the feeling of relief and love the family feels at being reunited.

  21. Wow…that thing you’re on is a bird magnet. Stay there and you can eat REALLY well for a long time! If, you know, you want to jump up and catch one. That might require effort…
