I wanted to say that we are thankful that Sniffie was our friend. We knew Sniffie for awhile. But what bonded me to her was that we stopped eating at about the same time. That is a strange bond but it made me particularly sad that I ended up okay but Sniffie got a horrible diagnosis. We are not thankful that she is an angel–and hope that no one gets the wrong idea. Still, I wanted to celebrate her life as a cat today and acknowledge that she moved me deeply.
We know that she was a very loved cat and a very lucky cat to have her person. I am thankful that when the Woman made me post about my new nickname of Meezerschnitzel that it made Sniffie’s mom smile yesterday.
I will miss Sniffie and I am sorry that her family did not have more time with her. However, I know that Georgia is showing her the ropes, along with many other friends who crossed before her. It is never good bye, but only until we meet again.
Sniffie was a wonderful girl. We have always loved her but we bonded with her even more after her diagnosis because our beloved Maggie passed away from awful cancer too. Just too sad for words.
Not that we want to make light during such a sad time…but…Meezerschnitzel? Mwaahhaaaa!!!
Sniffie was a good furiend and we shall miss her lots!!! We loved your post!!
Your TX furiends,
From all the tributes I am reading to Sniffie, it is obvious that she had many many dear friends, who are sad that she had to go to the Bridge too soon. My Mom and I feel so very sad for her family, because although she is running free at the Bridge, her dear family are missing her very much.
I too am grateful to have known Sniffie, even though she was not around as long as I wish she could have been. We have been sending her family purrs for their loss… and ours.
We are grateful to have known Sniffie too. We are sending her fambly purrs.
I am also grateful that I knew Sniffie. I am very sad that she had to go to the Bridge.

Sniffie was a lovely friend and we will miss her. We know what you mean about the bond. Fat Eric introduced us to blogging and we felt a close bond to him. We can’t really explain it but when he went to the Bridge we felt a part of us went too.
What a thoughtful post! I’ve been so sad ever since my mom told me that she talked with Mom Sharon on FB and that Sniffie would be going to the bridge the next day. I think the CB is an amazing place and we definitely have a bond that can’t be broken.
