It is difficult to find things to be thankful for this Thursday when we have lost so many of our good friends.
I am thankful that Momma was pleased to see Cheysuli drinking water. So we know she drinks water and probably won’t have to have more fluids (and Chey is thankful for that). We are thankful that although Chey is not eating much she is eating some and Momma doesn’t have to force feed her right now. Also we are thankful that she seems like she is getting her attitude back, even if she does not feel great yet.
We are also thankful for all the hugs and purrs from the blogosphere in the chatzy room. They weren’t given to us for our issues, but just hugs and paw holding because we all know how difficult each loss is.
We are thankful for the people at All the Best Pet Care who loaded Momma up with samples for Cheysuli that might help her to get her appetite back. We are also thankful for the great people at Mercy Vet who check in with Momma every day to see what is going on with Chey.
One day at a time. We are still purring for Chey, and thinking about our pals who have so recently left us.
We are sending all of you lots of purrs – and it’s good to know that Chey is drinking and becoming a bit more like her usual self.
You did find things to be thankful for, but sometimes we have to work at it a bit, don’t we. Glad Chey is eating and drinking enough you don’t have to force feed her now or give liquids. Have a good night.
If Chey is getting her attitude back, that is a good sign, along with eating some and drinking! Paws crossed that she continues to improve.

Being surrounded by loving and caring people makes a huge difference. We are crossing our paws that Chey gets better and better. We wish we could send you some stuff from here for her to sample, but it would only cause a problem if she really likes it and then you couldn’t get more…

We are still praying for Chey and hope she gets better soon. Sounds like she is a little better if she is drinking water. It is always so good to be thankful. Our Mom always tries to find things to be thankful for. Hope you have a super day.

…one paw in front of the other is headway (and one mouthful after another, too). You can try (you probably already have) unflavored Pedialyte as the tummy will absorb that better than plain water…a kitty that isn’t eating anything at all needs about 1 ounce 4 x a day.
