Well I finally got a chance to have a bath and there’s even a bit of sun. We have been having rain again. We have not had a very good summer at all, although while Cheysuli was sick it was quite hot.
She is back to hissing and spitting and chasing and swatting Ichiro. He swats me so I cannot feel too badly for him but I do think she is a bit mean about it.
I also noticed that Cheysuli did not do a good job of thanking everyone for their purrs and good thoughts and the offers of food that maybe she would eat. She is not very good at those things. I shall do that for her too. So I would like to thank everyone for their good thoughts and well wishes and for their excitement that Cheysuli is doing better! I am sure she appreciates it, in her own way.

Chey is just Chey – and the more she acts like herself, the better she must be feeling, which is a good thing!

Though it is part of your duty to call Chey out on her manners, really we don’t expect thanks for the purring. We are very glad she is improving. Being mean to Ichiro shows she is getting back to her old self.

Oh Miss Gemini I would love to come ofur and share your sun puddle. We had so few today it’s been raining off and on all day — they say we are going to be having nor’easter conditions for a few days. I guess that means more napping.
