After a very difficult Find Chey Friday, Laila and Minchie said, “Snoqualmie , WA ? Looks like a good Mexican restaurant across the street.” And we were all WOW! You cats are good. There were no real clues that we could see (we didn’t intend this but the Woman liked this particular photo of the town). Laila and Minchie came back and said, “Well, truthfully, we cheated. Mom put the picture in her Creative Memories Memory Manager software, and kept tweaking the picture until she could read the name of the restaurant. Then she kept googling the name and found it. It took awhile. It was a very good exercise for her brain to help keep it sharp while she’s being a slug these days. She’s totally wiped out and needs a long nap now. teeheehee!”
Actually I don’t think that’s cheating. I know people have used Google maps to find me as well so it’s all good. I’m just happy to be found! Of course they didn’t mention that Cory gave them a hint by knowing I was in Washington State!
Max thought,”From where you’re laying, I’m guessing you’re lounging outside the Road Kill Cafe…” Actually Max, I’m not there. I’m in the parking areas with the angled street parking so no one is there. Besides, the speed limit is 30 and because it’s a main highway it’s a nice speed trap for folks from out of town, so it is enforced. People there are really nice. The cars wait for you if you want to cross the street. Of course there is a lot of wild life in the area and sometimes you do see road kill.
Just past the town (which is a place the Woman drives through on her way to work) is a field where the Elk like to hang out.
Mishkat said, “We cheated and read the answers, so we know it’s Snowqualmie (our dad is from Seattle, so he knows the town.) But before we looked, our mom said she thought it was it’s out west because of those angled parking spots and the false fronts. It makes her want to go west.” I’ll give him that town too! After all, for a small town, it’s pretty famous up here! And you know what? I never would have known you read the answers if you hadn’t told me! Again, all is fair!
We knew one thing for sure… we did not know where you were at all! At least you can say that we are consistent, Chey! Happy Sunday to you!
This town is also not far from where our mom was born. But she moved away at the very young age of 6 months. The area is in her blood so that was the luck we had in finding you.
Congrats to Laila and Minchie…and their mom! She obviously has way too much time on her hands if she can spend that much time finding you! (We’re kidding…we just wish we would have thought of doing that!)
We’ve got a purrfect score again – ZERO! We have fun looking though!
Sniffie and the Florida Furkids
Concats to Laila and Minchie and their mom.
Concatulations to Laila and Minchie! We like the synchronized snoozing photo of them too.
Mom knew you were in the Pacific NW…just had that look to it but didn’t know what small town you were in.
You have some very determined fans, Chey. They don’t want you to stay lost.
Happy Sunday to you!
Each and every week, we are absolutely amazed that people actually find you, Chey!!!
We would nefer have figured out THAT place at all…
Those kitties deserve to be the guest stars, not only because they are cute but they are hard working cheaters. I have NEVER been able to find you and I have given up. Just sit back and enjoy the effort of others and, of course, your pics.
If I had Googled till I was blue in the face I don’t think I could’ve found you dear Chey… Good thing you ain’t relying on me to find you and that you have so many clever rescuers!
Pole Cat is, indeed, handsome – and cute! He let me pet him today without trying to take my face off. Result! :)xxx
Congrats to Laila and Minchie and their mama! They all deserve a nice nap after working so hard to figure out where you were, Chey! This is a real hard game you’ve set up. I’ve never been able to figure it out.
Mom loves Google too 🙂
However, when she takes the whole weekend off,
that does not help us kitties play!!!!!!!!!!
Mom and her sister are starting to make a habit of this
but at least we get to see them. even if they spend the weekend playing computer games 😉
