IMG_7509aI am thankful I get to write today’s post so that I am featured TWICE on the blog this week!  I bet you all are thankful too.  See the pretty lights behind my head?

We got a new bed last night.  Cheysuli will probably use it. She did late last night after ignoring it for a few hours.   I think she likes it. But now there are THREE beds here.  She has slept in all of them and I have slept in none of them.  I am not really a bed cat.

I think Momma talked Daddy into getting that bed by saying I would lie in it because Chey hogs the other two.   I am not really interested in a bed.  Of course, it was purchased for me so maybe I will try it out… some day.

  1. Maybe it has to do with being floofy. I don’t care for beds either. Maybe laundry baskets occasionally, but not beds. Cats like Chey with less fur need to cuddle in more.

  3. We are all foot-of-the-bed cats in our house … very nice. Maybe that would be a good place for you to try out the bed thing, Ms. Gemini.

    but he must be a lapcat.
    And I am not a lapcat~~~

  10. I think you should give it a try…I like all sorts of beds…and socks. I sleep on socks sometimes. Maybe I’m getting socks for Christmas? A bed would be cool too. You really should give it a try…unless the bed you want belongs to your mom. That’s the best bed in the house.

  13. You know what is more fun than being a bed cat, Gemini? Whapping cats out of beds, just because you can.
    sounds fun. It used to be Caesar’s favorite sport.

  18. Scooby has his favorite bed, I have a green circle bed I use every day. It’s on the couch, it’s nice to be up & away from things.
    Scout isn’t much for beds. He prefers to nap in his cube.

  19. Wot? A new bed an yoo have not put yur stinky all ofur it? A course we know yoo are not really stinky but yoo know what we mean. Beds are nice as long as yur human does not breathe all ofur you at night.

  21. We agree with Mickey – why sleep in a cat bed when you can snuggle up with your human on their bed?? Mom has bought us beds in the past – and now refuses to buy anymore because we sleep with her!

  23. Every winter Jan makes us kitties warm beds out of dishpans lined with fleece or a Gizzy Quilt. She makes Rusty a special bed out of a rectangular laundry basket. Very warm and snuggly. So where does Rusty sleep? In one of our beds, which is way too small for him. At night the dogs sleep in Jan’s room (in case she tries to escape or something?) and Rusty sleeps on one of the dog beds.

    We hope you will at least try your new bed. You might like it. On the other hand, you might prefer your mom’s pillow.
