I am letting a bit of heat escape from my belly area. It’s too hot. The Woman gets to go to work this week, which I am sure is good for the computer because she can’t be on it as much. It is less good for me because then I am stuck in the house and it is way to hot–even for a thin coated meezer like myself.
Even in the Portland area she had a heat pump which meant she had some cooling during the hottest part of the summer. Here they have one room with a room air conditioner (it is not the bedroom because that has the wrong kind of windows) for one room upstairs, but that door has to be closed so if she is not with us we do not get in there.
So I must suffer! I would think that I am worth the cost of one air conditioning unit that they would use at least three days ever summer (and this summer for four or five at least!)
Do you have a cool dungeon to go to?

Of course they should have a cold air blowing thingy! Even just one window one so that you have it for your overheating needs! Gah!

Yes, I agree with you Chey, you need your own purrsonal A/C! Our weather here in the east is completely the opposite to yours — it has been cool and rainy and most people are complaining there’s no summer.
However, I prefer this, to what you are expurriencing and I have all the sympathy in the world for you. I hope your mama does, too!

108 outside, 89 inside? Is that what you have to endure? Because that are OUR temperatures for the last, and supposedly coming weeks too…. The only time one can move is early in the morning…

Chey, Momma and Daddy were talking to our Aunt Joyce in Las Vegas today, and Daddy told her how HOT your neck of the woods is, not even realizing you lived there! In Vegas it is a normal thing, so we feel really bad for your heat related suffering! We welcome you and Gemini here to lay on our cedar chest right under the AC vent. We are waiting for you, but you will have to suffer thru Momma kissies … hee hee!
