We had thought we wouldn’t do another Find Chey this week because we had Georgia scheduled to cross the Bridge today. She decided to go a bit earlier though. So we are without a post.
We’d like to do another tribute to our fine cat. She was never a cuddler and though she momma catted Gemini quite a lot, those two didn’t cuddle much. Even Tuesday’s photo was as much Gemini annoying her as a cuddle moment. It wasn’t until Chey came into the house–and within a week as well–that we found Georgia lying on the bed, TOUCHING another cat.
Apparently Cheysuli was a cat to her liking. Well, as Chey would say, What’s not to like?
We know it is going to take some time to get past the loss of Georgia. She was very lucky to have all of you in her life. The tributes you have done for her are almost as beautiful as she was. We will be purring for you.
Tavi, Cody, Camie, Miss Jade and Gracie
We just read aabout Georgia and are so sad for all of you who will miss her so much. We’re purring and praying for you.
I love seeing another post about Georgia. I know it is going to take a long time for that lost feeling to subside, but it will get a little better in time. Mr. Linky is down at the CB, so I thought I would tell you that I have a farewell post for Georgia up. I do a lot of these and I do feel a heart wrench every time, but I thought I would tell you that I haven’t done one with the tears streaming down my face the whole time since I did the one for Bonnie Underfoot. I am so sorry that I wasn’t there to give you comfort while Georgia was getting sicker by the day. My blogging time is limited and I just missed it. I love the comment you made on Victor and Nina’s blog about Georgia going during a thunderstorm and you thought that Bonnie was calling to her. I can see the two of them leading the herd of cats playing THoE with their eyes flashing.
We have loved the lovely tribute posts that you’ve done for Georgia this week – they show just how loved she was and still is. When a special cat comes into your life, they never ever go away from your heart.
Blessings to Georgia, and all of your fambly.
It takes a long time for cat touching… Gandalf did not to be in the same room with Grayson for 3 months!
It’s lovely to see the 3 of them together today. I think it was wise of Chey to not go wandering today. Now is the time to stay close to family.
That is a beautiful photo of the three of them together. I agree with Cory about Chey not wandering off. Staying close and comforting one another is way more important.
such a sweet photo of all three cats together. we are very sad that georgia has crossed over the bridge. we lit a candle for her.
and we will be sending a condolence ham for chey and gemini.

That is a great photo. What wonderful memories you will have through it. Chey is exactly correct, what’s not to like. (Hopefully that will not expand Chey’s head too much.) 🙂

Well yeah, what is not to like? As the resident meezer around here I get along with everyone while certain others only get along sometimes. I’m the only one that happily gets snuggled by all cats and humans.
Well, if you did a Find Chey Friday, I think we would know that Chey would be close to home today.
oh chey, i’m glad you’re staying home today to care for your mom, dad, and sister. they need you. 🙂
Isn’t it funny how dat werks? Nina and I get along as well as Bonnie and I did not. We’s sorry Georgia is goned. Fings may be diffrint atween Gemini an Chey as dey werk out life wifout Georgia.

We finished reading your posts about Georgia. Oh, my, you will miss her lots! We would love to hear more about her any time you wish to write. We loved today’s photo of you all, very touching.
Hugs and purrs from all of us.
I thing it’s entirely appropriate that on this Find Chey Day, we’d find her at home…
I was sorry when I heard that Georgia went to the bridge. I will pray that the family will get through these hard times and soon the fun times can be shared without too much sadness.
If you all get tired of chilling out head back to my place. There is a CCSI Marathon all weekend with free popcorn, soda pop, and a gift for all to take home.
Glad you enjoyed the show! Thanks for the kind words!
Oh, such a lovely photo! I’m glad Chey isn’t lost today but is with her family. Take care all. xxx
It is best that you were found at home with your family today Chey. you will all give each other comfort.
You are great friends. I missed many posties but it is good to see the pictures of Georgia. It is good to go over her life again, it helps doesn’t it?
We sure hung on to and shared many memories of Caesar for a long time. Still, Georgia is special and she will always be in our hearts. It is good to share, we love the memories too.
purrrs for a lovely week-end
We like this picture of all 3 of you together…sort of!
Chey, we are so glad to see another post about Georgia … and to see all 3 of you together in the same picture. We are sending more hugs, purrs and headbutts to all of you, and we hope Georgia has met our brofur Max at the Bridge and that they are furriends …
Sabrina, Sam and Simon
Yes, we furries often confuse our humans’ schedules. We do things our way and in our time. Georgia didn’t intend to leave you without a post. It was just the right time for her to leave. On mom’s lap, warm, loved and comfortable.
I am so sorry for your loss. I know how much you loved Georgia. It’s wonderful that she had such a caring human mom and lived as long as she did, with love and affection.
