After many wrong guesses from many cats, Eric and Flynn came up with a nearly correct answer:
We have been taking geography lessons and we believe it is Ushuaia which is the capital of Tierra del Fuego in the Beagle Channel between Chile and Argentina. It pays to listen when you go to lessons.
Ushuaia isn’t actually between Chile and Argentia, it is part of Argentina. It is, however the city that this port is in.
Derby was very close, guessing:
Tierra Del Fuego or some where near there?? and this is my guess without seeing what Skeezy says.
Tierra Del Fuego is farther west and is a land mass that you see sailing through the Straits of Magellan. By the time you get to Ushuaia, you have passed beyond the straits and gone around Cape Horn and stopped in Argentina. Ushuaia is the southern most city in the world (unless you count the base on Antarctica, but the Woman did not get there)
The Woman visited here when she traveled around Cape Horn. She took a little boat tour to see the birds and penguins in the Beagle channel.
