Well it was an exciting Friday. I tried to give you all an easy one. While most of you got that I was in Kings Cross, beginning with Mr. Echo, I was looking for something more specific. In fact, I even told you exactly where I was and only Daisy was that specific.
Yes, can you imagine?! Daisy was finally correct! She said:
For once, I know EXACTLY where you are! You are at Platform 9 3/4. Right?
Victor Tabbycat was the most thorough:
King’s Cross Station, London, platform 9 3/4. Are you waiting for the Hogwarts Express? I’d LOVE to ride that train! Or derail a model of it. Either would be fun!
I do not think you could get much more specific than that. Most of you were guessing too general. Now for all those cats who did not read Harry Potter, you may want to look at the picture again as there is a small hint. Find my head and then count seven rows of bricks up and you will find it.
Now…!
I danced in the morning when the world was begun
And I danced in the moon and the stars and the sun,
And I came down from heaven and I danced on the earth,
At Bethlehem I had my birth.Dance, then wherever you may be,
I am the Lord of the Dance, said he,
And I’ll lead you all, wherever you may be,
And I’ll lead you all in the Dance, said he….
From the Portland Revels Site:
At the conclusion of the first part of every Christmas Revels, the chorus and audience join in a serpentine song and dance, based on Sidney Carter’s song, “Lord of the Dance,” an adaptation of the Shaker song, “‘Tis a Gift To Be Simple.”
The song and dance is a brief experience of shared celebration and is, for many, the community highpoint of the show.
Guess we’re dense. We didn’t read Harry Potter and we don’t see any hint on the bricks. We have come to the conclusion, if you were lost at the corner right outside our home, we still wouldn’t know where you are. sigh
Really? You don’t see the sign that says Platform 9 3/4 over my head?!
Cool! We like solstice celebrations!
Luf, Us
Duhr, I missed the obveeus! MOL Happy solstiss!
Yay for Daisy. She finally got one right.
Yayyyy for Daisy!!!!!
We thought the 9 3/4 was too obvious so we were trying to be too clever for our own good! Happy Solstice and hooray for longer days to come.

Good for Daisy…and good for everyone else who got it right! Happy first day of winter!

Oh, haf you herd the Dubliner Tabby Cat’s vershun of the song?
“Pouce, pounce, wherever you may be.
I am the Lord of the pounce said he”
It’s a furry good album to listen to.
Doh! Apparently, a sign will be needed every week, Chey. For us anyway, most of the time! But Mom did read all the books and is a Harry Potter fan! We can’t wait for the last movie to come out – then we are going to do a movie marathon one weekend, like we did for Lord of the Rings when we watched them all in one day!
We forgot about it being winter solstice until we read about it here! Yay! The light is coming back, slowly but surely!
Light is GREAT for sunspots..places to nap in and bake and toast and braise and broil and…well, GET WARM!
Here comes the SUN!
Well Daisy is a very very smart poose…and quite the fashion expert. We love her!
Happy Solstice!
