I would like to thank everyone for their concern and their information about my dentistry. I have something called LPG which is an autoimmune disorder that makes my gums react to minimal amounts of plaque and bacteria.
We visited with Georgia’s vet on Friday. I will be going there for a dental in a couple of weeks. It doesn’t sound like it would be quite so expensive AND I get more care. This vet gave me a homeopathic remedy for my bladder infection (and now I am prancing around more like my usual self). I also got a tube of special ointment to help my gum inflamation. Oh you know how all of you comment on my great fangs? That is because they are being pushed out of my mouth by my gums so I probably won’t have such fangs.
After a week I will get a homeopathic for my gums and then go in for a dental a bit after that. After the dental the homeopathic vet has a tech who will do Reiki on me while I wake. I will have to be on antibiotics for awhile after that but I will also get some probiotics to help keep from loosing my precious digestive flora.
Oddly the remedy I will get for my teeth is the same remedy that Georgia is on. My human finds that curious.
Ooh, that LPG an dental werk sounds annoyin! We hope ya keep yer fangs…
Oah My!!
Looks it is very serious, Chey!!
I hope your treatment is going very well…..
I really don’t know these infection could connect so many different part of body…..
Sorry to hear about your dental troubles, Chey. ๐ It does seem that Meezers are prone to them! The one-who-came-before, a seal point Meezer named Whiskers, had to have plenty of tooth cleanings throughout his life, since he developed plaque very easily. We will purr that all goes well for you!
Oh Goodness Chey, we hope that everything goes well. This is a beautiful picture of you!
Oh my goodness! I’ll be interested to hear how the homeopathic treatments help your teeth and gums! Sounds like it will be a pain, but am happy to hear that there is a good treatment plan for you. Get better soon!
We will be sending healing purrs your way. Feel better very soon.
xoxooxxo
I have the same issue Chey…meezers just have bad gums- Kaze has it too. We’re supposed to be on “pulse” antibiotics but my Meowmy tries to do it less than once a month. Mmmm…probiotic yogurt is SO tasty!!!
Yep, us meezers do seem to have more tooth issues. I hate having mine cleaned, but that is better than the other option. I hope and purray that you get to keep your teeth and that you also get to keep your digestive flora in line.

No Fangs? We do not think that would be any fun. So do your treatments without too much fuss, OK?

I am so glad that it seems that things will go well for you, Chey. I do so hope that you get to keep your fangs, though.
I do hope your teeths will all be better soon! Glad you get to go to VET that doesn’t cost so much green papers. I know my daddy always complains about how much free kitties and puppies cost around our house.
Oh my Bast, Chey!! After a few days of rest and medication, hopefully you’ll be feeling better. Will you have to eat special food ’cause of your sore mouth?
Oh I am so happy that you are going to get the special treatment for your teeth! You should be feeling much better then in a few weeks.
purrrs sweetie
Chey, getting you toothies worked on will make you feel much better. I had to have a cleaning and a couple toothies removed last year, but it went without a hitch, and I was forced to eat Stinky Goodness … hee hee!
Purrs and headbutts,

Chey, what is that ointment they gave you? Mom fears Silk & I might still have our problem …
The vet told her that regular cats don’t get this as much – the purebreds do. :-/
Oh dear ๐
I will send you big purrs and hope your treatment goes well ๐

We’re glad your mom found somewhere to take you where you will get better care and it won’t cost your mom so much. Maybe she’ll have enough left over to send you to vacation in Hawaii??
