How can we not be thankful for compassion? Compassion is a form of love–not a possessive must have sort of love that we cats might feel for our feather toys or for Temptations, but a sincere font of well wishes for another.
We have compassion for those critters online who are suffering and struggling. We show our compassionate nature by donating to their causes and participating in fund raising to help them meet their bills.
Overall the cat blogosphere is a very compassionate place. I am thankful to be a part of it.
I am also thankful to have a great place to nap, although Georgia got to be the filling (the warmest spot!).
The cat blogosphere is the best!
The cat blogosphere is one of the most compashonate places. Doesn’t Georgia deserve to be the “filling” and sleep in the warmest spot…
Geez, yoo shood git extra points for mingling with non-Simeeze no-breeds. Next thing yoo know, yoo’ll be forst to kiss baybeez and eet rubber chikkins!
This is a sweet warm a big family~!!
We are so safe and happy in cat blogsophere!
I feel compassionate regularly, but I don’t always have the chance to express it. Wild animals are the most in need of our compassion, dashing here and there without a special bean to look after them. Soon some of them may have no place to dash. I feel sorry about that.
Oh that’s lovely! Here it’s always Ramses who gets to be piggy in the middle! 😉
You are wise, and right.
I am worried and sad about so many of our friends right now.
You are quite right, Chey. We are lucky kitties, all of us in the Blogosphere. There are so many cats & dogs out there that still have not found their forever home, or may never.
You are lucky to have more than 2 kitties to make a middle. We only have 2, so neither of us ever gets to be the middle!
We feel compassion for our fellow kitties too…we put our faith in knowing that the best outcome is what will happen. We continue to send our warmest purrs for all of our friends in need….
Purrsss
Chey and Gemini, it is very important that we spoilt kitties are compassionate towards those less fortunate. Many of us were once on the road to being very unfortunate kitties, so we must not forget how lucky we are that we get food delivered right to our mouths and a warm bed and human to sleep with.
The catblogosphere is just incredible!
You three look so cozy together!
I am thankful for having a furrever home, even if the do make me play dress up from time to time.
Room for one more in there?
It is very important to have compassion for our fellow creatures. One day, we might need some compassion ourselves.
Thank you for your kind words!
Aww Chey, that’s a beautiful post! I agree, I think cats are a compassionate bunch. And our humans aren’t so bad either. They aren’t crazy Cat People, they’re just good people!
Well,Georgia did not get to reach her age without learning a thing or two along the way 😉
I agree that the Cat Blogosphere has the most compassionate beans & cats 🙂 We live a good life and we want that for everycat!
Purrs Mickey

The Cat Blogosphere is one of a kind!
that is a great post and a sooper great picature of you all ~
Compassion is something that does not come naturally to me. Each time I try to act compassionately, I get distracted by my image in the mirror.
Having said that, I do love being part of the cat blogosphere and the compassion that other cats show me during my daily sufferings is second to none.

A VERY GOOD post… Sometimes it is hard to distinguish between ownership (like toys), love (fer Beins and housemates), and compassion (fer other known or even unknown kitties).
I am so glad to be part of the Cat Blogosphere too!
I’m thankful, too, Chey. It’s a community like none other!
Compassion is the purr-fect word. We are very grateful to be a part of the cat blog-o-sphere.
That picture is precious. My pet human would call your faces “sleepy poose-faces”
You three look like angels all together!
Yes, the cat blogsphere is compassionate, but don’t forget us woofies.

We Ballicai are thankful for the Cat Blogosphere, too. It’s a wonderful, caring and compassionate place — Mom says it’s the sweetest and most caring place on the internet. 🙂
Purrs and snuggles from Marilyn!
We apologize for calling you “he,” Chey. We keep doing that to girl kitties.
But then you called us “Jan” and Jan isn’t allowed to post on our journal. We’ll forgive you if you forgive us.
We posted a correction.
Chey, this is such a beautiful and thoughtful post. We are continually just amazed at the compassion that abounds in the Cat Blogosphere. Many of us wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for the compassion of our beans and the compassion of the kitties who came before us who welcomed us into their homes. And now all of us all over the world take care of each other – it’s just wonderful!

It’s okay, Chey. Most everyone calls us Jan. It’s Blogger’s fault. Jan signed us up on her email and everywhere we go, we’re ID’s as Jan.
This is as confusing to us as is your SS having to pay your credit card bill. Humans! When you become President, perhaps you can straighten them out.
