Well this photo is doing dual duty. As it’s not yet very springy here, going back this photo allows us to participate in the Simply Siamese photo contest to help out with Project Ham.
It’s also a great photo for FREE.
Here is Georgia last summer looking very free outside in the big world. Georgia has always enjoying wandering around in the garden, though since her brain tumor has meant she can no longer hear or run very well, she is now always supervised. A family of raccoons periodically claims our cul de sac. Deer frequently roam our streets and the occasional coyote. We are pretty suburban but the land loss in the area has come so fast, the animals don’t know what to do.
All of our cats are pretty much indoors, unless they are under supervision, or like Gemini, decide to sneak out when we aren’t looking!
That is a wonderful photo- very ‘free’ and also the greenery conjures spring time images! Such a shame about the land-loss – this seems to happen more and more. I swear the government in this country want to turn it into one big urban sprawling estate. Such a shame for the natural order of things. All wrong, eh. x
We is jealous you gits to be out of doors free!
Lovely photo of Georgia enjoying the outdoors. We only go outside under supervision as well, and always on our harness or in our stroller.
I like seeing Georgia outdoors enjoying the sunshines.
Lucky Georgia… that’s the only
way we’ll ever be free… teach us now to sneak out please…
We like that we can outside since we moved to Georgia. It is also nice to come back inside the Yellow House! Poor Gemini is always getting a bad rap!
We have lots of critters at The Swamp, but no deer. Georgia looks lovely in the garden!
Georgia is enjoying the sun while she is FREE π
Makes me really want Spring to come!!
We have some wildlife in the area, but nothing like coyotes. We do have alligators, but they are only dangerous if you stay on the ground. They are also not really fast on the land either. Probably the things you really have to watch out for are the Eagles and Hawks. We have a lot of those.
Being free outside is good.
But always remember return home everyday! That is the most important part for all of us.
This is an excellent photo~!
Great photo… love all the green. We miss green and the sun.
xoxoxoxo
My previous cat (she passed away a year ago) was indoor all the time but I did let her out a few times (we’re rural) and always supervised – she loved to tip toe around and be free. =) hope you win the photo contest!
That’s a cool shot and perfect for the free theme.
Georgia is a beautiful Calico!
We can’t go outside at all, but we have a nice porch and sit can in the windows when it’s warm and Hot!

Roscoe got out once when lived in American. He was gone 20 minutes before he was found and managed to ripped the pads on his feet, skin his nose and give himself a bloody lip! Poor guy! At least we found him.
We both got out once since our move to Italy, but when we hit the front lawn we just didn’t know what to do. Our human found before we got any further.
Puurs from Italy,
Opus and Roscoe

My so called life
Yes, Chey, there were only two lovely babies this time–a boy and a girl…One is going to live with my older kit, Phinney, and the other one, there is a nice lady inquiring about it already…So, they may already have forever homes!!!
Thanks for the warm thoughts, Chey…

What a beautiful girl Georgia is. But how sad she has a brain tumor.
Georgia looks so happy – all of those yummy outside smells!
That is a wonderful photo- very βfreeβ and also the greenery conjures spring time images! Such a shame about the land-loss – this seems to happen more and more.
There is nothing like watching a cat outdoors. Ours have been tentatively trying out the weather since it’s warmed a little bit.
Lovely photo! She looks so interested in everything.
