Thankful Thursday

Ichiro · January 9, 2008 ·

img_0689a.JPGWell about 40 minutes ago, I tried to write this post and this site and two others on the same account were all gone. No can’t find the page–just doesn’t exist at all! A strange error message. Needless to say, I am happy to be here posting! I thought I had been erased!

I would like to thank Pollux for tagging me for the seven things meme. As we have all done it here and I would hate to bore you with 7 MORE things about me, I will have to just say thank you for the tag! I must say, after reading his post, Pollux is definitely a meezer’s meezer. Yao-lin, we ought to take him under our wings!

Ah I am thankful for the space heater which the woman sat in front of for an ungodly long time as she warmed up after a wonderful day of skiing. Yes, here in Washington we managed a bit of powder. The area wasn’t too crowded. The woman lasted about four hours before her legs gave out on the real runs and she got sick of the ski schools on the lower run where she was continuing to ski as I believe she said, (and probably offensively) the spirit was willing but the legs were weak…

So far it is looking as if Paws For Change is the slogan!

That’s a great photo of the three of you, Chey. πŸ™‚ Those are excellent things to be thankful for. This winter and last winter have been very mild here in Germany, so the ski slopes just south of us in the Alps haven’t seen much business. Our humans don’t mind, since they aren’t skiiers, and the mild weather is much better for running, for them!

Snow! No wonder you’re hanging out neat the space heater. We love the heater in winter too. Just remember, if all else fails, stay warm by snuggling,

What a stunning profile you have! Hmm…I’ll have to warn Meowmy as she’s going skiing at the end of the month in Maine. I fully expect her to fail rather quickly.

I am so glad you weren’t erased!

That is a wonderful picture of the three of you.

My mommy has NEVER gone skiing. I have my doubts that she would survive the experience.

Snow?! Simon’s never seen snow … I think he would like it (cold weather doesn’t stop him), but it may slow him down a little. πŸ™‚ It’s t-shirt weather here, but he’s all meows when I mention the fluffy white stuff. And ‘paws for change’ is his vote!

Oh, and Simon sends you a big Thank You (meow – meow – meow) for his vote!

Four hours – that’s pretty good. I doubt SS could do it, but it’s a major expedition to get to the snow for us. I have some trouble acccessing your site and then it wouldn’t let me comment at first and I only succeeded after the third try. Do you think there is sabotage operating against you?

That snow stuff has got to be erased! Humans are so silly to play in it, aren’t they? And I do love your slogan, “Paws for change.”

Skiing? Brrr! Snow is pretty, but it’s so cold! I steer clear of it when Mom and Dad track it in on their boots.

Paws for Change is a superb slogan! πŸ™‚

    Purrs and snuggles from Marilyn.
