If you didn’t already know, Lilly Lu and her family won the auction. I am just waiting for them to respond to our email about the where to send and to confirm that they have paid via paypal to the Meezers. I think she will look stunning in my jewels, although it does sound like it was more for her human than her. Sigh. We want to thank them for their lovely Christmas card too. It was our first this year.

If you haven’t congratulated her already you might want to go do so now.

Now our feature Friday always has our most intriguing comment for show off now. There were many good responses. Many of you were perplexed about ants in the dishwasher. I can only refer you to Aloysius who first brought up this phrase. He spoke of this problem and apparently now they all find him for that. I mentioned that on my blog and now they find me that way too. And lots of them. Like ants.

However, I thought that seeing they made me laugh (again) it would be appropriate to give the honor to the cat who made this comment:

maybe bad siamese cat put ants in the dishwasher.
at least you don’t haf a screaming cow singing Green Acres in your house.

Can anyone guess who said that? Of course you all know it was Miles Meezer (again!). But it did seem appropriate that if you have a good comment and Lilly Lu got my necklace in your honor that you should share the spotlight!

  18. Oh, dear! The ants-in-dishwasher problem raises its ugly head again. I am most intrigued by Diamond Emerald Eyes’ comment about the ants in the car engine: my human had mice nesting in her car once and they ate her computer! That was long before I came to live with her, or I would have offed those mice.
