This is hard post. I want to say: Meezer Rule Wednesday: Be at peace. Bring peace. Be a light giver.
It’s my style to laugh where others won’t. I try to be absurd to point out what is painfully real. Right now, thinking about peace, thinking about the state of the world, I cry when I try and post this post.
The United States. Read that. Who is that? It sounds like a bunch of people in agreement. A bunch of small governments who have all banded together and agree to work together for their own benefit. Yet here we are–torn apart and at each other’s throats. The states expected equality and commonality. Yet here we have red states and blue states. We are no longer one people but a nation divided on just about everything you can think of.
We the People, of the United States of America…
We–we as in all of us
The People–ONE people (all of us)
United–a group of people working together.
Where did we loose it?
Peace starts at home. I pray for peace in myself. In my home. In my country. In my world.
A wonderful message.
we to pray for peace in our home, in our country and in our world. Peace is a lofty goal.
Dearest Cheysuli,
In the midst of the hardest times, people of all walks and beliefs pull together. I think we will all be stunned at the outcome of this coming election. Ultimately we all want the same thing….peace.

And I say that having just lived through the wildfires. No one thought blue or red…..we were all one.

Amen sister, Amen.
Dear Cheysuli, Gemini and Georgia, we feel you hit on something in your post when you said “peace starts at home”. This we believe too, it is individuals connecting to others – like what we are doing with our Blog Blast for Peace – and this makes us stop and think about things. This is good.
Peace to you all,
Moe & Mindy

What a thought provoking posting. WE agree that peace begins with each of us and we can make a difference with what we do and it does spread….
Purrs for Peace
Maybe if Meezers did rule, there would be more peace. Wiser words were never spoken, my friend.
Peoples aren’t as smart as them thinks them are, aint’ so?
and let it begin with me.
peace to you.
Maybe instead of red and blue, everybody could join together and make PURPLE! I like that idea.
A very wonderful post. Thank you.
Purrs for Peace.
That is an excellent Meezer rule and a wonderful post, Chey. Peace does begin with each of us. I am purring for peace.
What a wonderful post!

Peace!~
These words remind us that disagreement doesn’t have to be mean and hateful. We don’t all have to agree, but we do have to discuss our differences and find common ground to benefit all.
Well done.
Peace to you and yours on this wonderful Peace Globe Day and always.
What a lovely post. It is so true and makes me wonder how the states came together in the first place? I mean, they were so different yet had a common interest. After that interest had been satiated things had to change to keep them United, they had to keep bonds to make it work and continue to benefit everyone involved.
Humans are selfish. Cats are supposed to be but humans are supposed to be more rational than that.
If peace starts in the home does that mean Empress and I have to get along? What if she starts it? Can’t I hit her back? hmmm I guess that’s not a very good cattitude. Peace at home will be a hard thing but if it can change the world it would be worth it.
what a beautiful post for peace, my globe is up and flying today….Peace to you!!
This was such a lovely post. Thank you for writing it!

Your FL furiends,
Your Peace Globe is lovely and your post is very thought-provoking. We all need to work together for peace to happen. Peace to you and all the world.
you know, human beings cant even get along with their neighbours let alone entire states/countries/counties/cities.
Cats, however, are a completely different matter. We simply claim our territory and woe betide any feline that encroaches. Mwa haha
I do find your post very thought provoking. Peace to you and yours. xx
Amen! Peace to the 3 of you and your human staff.
This needed to be said. I’m glad you said it.
It is not easy in this world of ours today to put on a Miss America smile and talk about world peace. Crying does seem more appropriate given the mess we’re in.
Thank you for pointing out the obvious and saying it so well.
Peace to you and yours.
