Thirteen Things the male human does to show me he loves me
1. He feeds me.
2. He holds out his arms to hug me (which annoys me)
3. He stands over my food to be sure I like it. (This REALLY annoys me)
4. He plays with the feather toy with me, which I really like.
5. He plays with the laser light with me, which drives me nuts!
6. He goes out to work so I can eat. (I wish he would work more overtime)
7. He makes his clothes smell like something I want to attack.
8. He is always wanting to pet me (and I hate that!)
9. He keeps coming back to be snubbed no matter how often I do it.
10. He keeps me from eating too fast and vomiting up my food. (I hate this.)
11. He has taken up golfing to allow me more time without him in the house. (I like this.)
12. He got a nice big window so that I could look outside.
13. He does not have a dog (and this makes everything worthwhile)

  4. Wow, Chey, sounds like you’ve got him trained just right… except for that hugging & petting thing. Guess you have to allow the humans a few idiosyncracies.

  9. Great list! My human mom likes to hug me and pet me and make sure I like my food too. But I like it. She is so nice to me, but I’ll never admit to her how much I like having her around. I have an image to maintain and all.

    My dad is another story though…he likes to squeeze me when he hugs me and I don’t like that.

    I think your human-bean sounds pretty nice (except for the golfing thing — we like golf balls in the bath tub, the way Bast intended!)

  11. Great list Chey, but I’ve never met a Siamese who didn’t like to be pet! 😉

    And what is it about your Meezers and gobbling your food so quickly you then vomit it back up. My Whiskers used to do the same thing. There must be some ancient Roman in the Siamese bloodlines.

  19. I don’t know Chey, I don’t think my Chip Man likes me much. He doesn’t ever feed us. But he does play with me and then he tries to hug me because I’m soooo cute or something. Gag.
