2. If something bothers you and you can’t do anything else, purr. It makes everything better. 3. If you want something, ask. 4. Just because they said No yesterday doesn’t mean they’ll say no today. 5. Just because they said No today, doesn’t mean they’ll say no tomorrow. 6. Take time to play. 7. There’s always time for one more nap. 8. Enjoy the patch of sun. 9. Take a long bath and relax. 10. Remember to stretch. 11. You never make mistakes. If someone thinks you did, look them in the eye and say, “I meant to do that.” 12. Live life one litter box at a time. 13 It’s really all about me- I mean you–ah never mind. It is about me. Cat are so cute…but they are very haughty.
LOL 4 and 5 seem to currently be my two year olds theory on everything. xD
Happy Thursday!!
My TT is up if you wanna look at it.
Hehe, very smart list! π
Great advice, Chey! I’m going to start working on #11 right away. π
PURRfect 13! I enjoyed that very much!

I think everyone could learn from you! I know that because of my cat, I now like to sit with him in sunbeams. π
And I wish I could purr. I’ve tried, I just can’t seem to do it.
You wanna know something, Chey? That’s a good list. And you’re right, we humans could learn something from you. #3, 6, 7, 9 are my favorites.
Happy TT!
Sadie (Merlin’s Mom)
I like numbers 4 and 5! Too true!
Good idea for a TT!
Chey, that’s a great list. π We humans could definitely learn a lot from our cats.
Thanks for stopping by and have a purrfect Thursday. π
I was surprised you mentioned the “making mistakes” one. How did that even OCCUR to you, Chey? I would expect that to be so far off your radar (because you never make mistakes), you wouldn’t mention it at all!
Purr…
Great list! I know I learned a lot. Thanks for visiting my blog.
Hi Chey — thanks for the visit to my site, Purrchance To Dream, and for adding me to your links list.
I love your TT and will be adding you to my links list today!
Meow for now ~ Daphne
YES! I don’t believe in reincarnation, but have always said that if it did happen, I’d want to come back as a cat. More specifically as one of MY cats. They are living life LARGE. π
I’ve posted my Thursday Thirteen, too. Enjoy!
Um…Chey? I normally hate it when people leave comments about other sites in someone’s comments (especially when it has nothing to do with their post), but when I do it, I don’t mind so much.
I wanted you to know, before you read it in the tabloids, that I left a comment at MetroMama’s site. Perhaps you should read it so you can get mad at me. We can make up quicker that way! π
Way to cute….we have two cats who sleep at least half of their life…we could learn alot from your list. Thanks for the chuckle.
Very cool list.
Great list! Thanks for visiting mine!
What a great list!
Great list and makes you realize what you can learn from a cat.
Thanks for visiting me!
Nice list…but cats do not purr because they are happy. It is a sign of comfort and friendship. π
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Actually, Chey is right. Perhaps cats are content and not happy but that’s splitting hairs. Cats know what she means. They also purr for self soothing, which is what’s behind the comment of if nothing else works, purr. They purr under stress, such as the vet. Most cat owners have had a cat that won’t stop purring for the veterinarian to listen to their heart. It takes something they really dislike to make it stop–purring soothes them.
There are also studies that show that cats purr at the same sound frequency that bones heal. There is that old wives tail that cats always land on their feet, because they seldom break a bone. Perhaps this is why. This leads to further speculation that they purr to heal themselves.
It makes you wonder how far the vibe goes. Hence the cats here send purrayers when another is injured or their owner has lost a job or gone through surgery. It does seem to help even from the blog sphere.
