Thankful Thursday

I am thankful for many things this week. However, I think I am thankful that so many people have come up with the needs meme. I had no idea I had to do so many things:

So I think these are mostly good things to need (except the tylenol and learning to hold the kitty) so I am thankful!

Meezer Rule Wednesday

My Meezer Rule:

I forbid my person from ever leaving me for work as much as she has this month ever ever again!!!

What? You mean you won’t do that again because you are too exhausted?!

Excellent my rule has worked!

Tabby Tuesday

Well Momma is almost done with her busy busy month. I am ever so happy. Now that she has gotten in routine and is brushing me more, I still have furs flying all over the place. She says she has brushed out enough fur for a 10 pound cat.

I am not sure I believe this as I weigh in at only about 8 pounds (a little less than actually). So I think she is exaggerating the amount of furs I have shed into the brush that I like. But I have certainly lost a lot of furs but you could never tell cause I still have even more.

Meezer and Mancat VP Monday

From the Cat Post Intelligencer:

Once again Barak Obama attempts to model himself after Critters for Total World Domination Party Cheysuli. Cheysuli is the candidate for real change, the real underdog and the real Washington outsider. She has had as her Vice Presidential Candidate Derby Sassy Cat for some time.

Obama recently approached Derby for the Vice Presidential slot, but being a cat Derby was far more loyal than Oprah or Al Gore who originally endorsed Cheysuli and then switched the Junior Senator from Illinois. Derby said no. As a backup, the Senator chose Joe Biden.

Derby has always brought the same types of stability and experience to the ticket that Biden will bring to the Obama ticket. Derby brings good solid American values to Cheysuli’s sometimes socialistic leanings. He tempers her need for fairness with compassion and practicality. Nothing will be overdone with Derby on the ticket.

“Sometimes Cheysuli is accused of being almost French in her outlook,” one observer said, “But Derby is a real cat’s cat. He loves football and a good bowl of food and a roll in the nip. He’s a candidate we can understand and love.”

And I, soon to be president, Cheysuli would like to be part of the Not the Mama appreciation day!

There now that should really make Mo’s day!

Sunday Guest Star

Well Camie’s Kittie’s were close on the guess, except we were not watching a football field…we were actually doing what Skeeter, LC and Ayla said–we were looking into a baseball game from the football stadium.

Actually, we think you are overlooking SafeCo Field, from just north of it.

Ping was very close but again we were not watching football–just baseball from the safety of being across the street from Safeco Field.

I would like to point out all the work that Skeeter, LC and Ayla did:

We saw the tiny “Qwest Field” sign in the background and figured out the general area. Seeing that it was in Seattle, we looked for another sports field nearby. When we found SafeCo Field, we looked for directions an discovered it was south of Qwest Field, so we could tell ya had ta be looking at it from the north.

An yer chin was just a TEENSY bit over a upper railing, so we knew ya hadda be right at the stadium.

MOL!

Icon Baxter Bentley was also correct that we were at Qwest Field.

I suspect that Derby’s guess was also correct:

You are on top of the stadium, scaring the bejessus out of all of the peoples inside those office buildings!

No Daisy, I was not at the Olympics. Those were in China and this was Seattle. We are however one of the closest places in the continental US to the Olympics… I know that one of these days you will be 100% correct (and likely the only cat who is when you get it!)

Find Chey Friday

Well here I am, somewhere. I will give you all a hint. I am not actually at a baseball game (although from the angle you see me, you might be tempted to think that is what I am watching, but it is not!

So do you need ideas? Guesses? Check out my full Find Chey Rules!

From the Woman:

We moved the Breeze Litterbox to a different location and replaced another litter box (that I always forget to clean) and YEAH! Someone used it!!! YEAH!

From Chey:

Yeah well it was only once and it was probably Gemini…

Latte and I are going off to find our own MESSY litterboxes.

From the Woman:

Since writing this with such excitement and hope, no one has used the box since…sigh.

Meezer Rule Wednesday

Chey considers her decision

Chey considers her decision

You know what? If you don’t have a meezer rule, you don’t have to have a meezer rule. That’s my rule.

My human and I didn’t talk much this week and so I wasn’t able to boss her around. Nor was she around much to make many mistakes–just a few.

So I have no rules–other than that there should be a better way for humans to feed us than to have to go out and leave us all day for long periods of time with no attention.

Anyway, I couldn’t let Gemini get away with all the furball hacking. I yakked up a good bit of catfood. It was nice if I do say so myself.

Gemini waiting to be brushed

Gemini waiting to be brushed

I am not happy that Momma isn’t home more. Not only is she too busy to help me visit all my friends but she hasn’t brushed me nearly enough and so I have hacked up many furballs. This is not good for me. I could have a furball complex. Or it could ruin my digestion forever. She needs to brush me more!!!

Cheysuli awaiting Feather action

Cheysuli awaiting Feather action

From the Cat Post Intelligencer:

Rumors abound that Barak Obama and John McCain are both fighting for Cheysuli as the VP on their ticket. Each candidate seems to feel the political cat could bring them voters that would otherwise not be interested in their campaign.

Spokescats for Cheysuli deny any such claims or interest.

“She’s running for president,” stated one. “The only VP seat she’d even consider would be Al Gore and he most certainly isn’t running.”
